Avinnash Gorakssakar, Market Expert told CNBC-TV18, "Coal India should be held on to, the dividend has already been played out but if one were to look at the longer-term kind of potential, clearly Coal India has got a very strong kind of positioning. In terms of the balance sheet, in terms of the kind of operating metrics, I would presume that longer-term this company should do well."
"In the shorter-term, now with a dividend factor played out this stock may remain in a very close range but over the next six to twelve months, hopefully once the power generation numbers improve, I would believe that one could get a better risk reward ratio," he added.
