Buy Can Fin Homes, India Cements: Hemant Thukral

Hemant Thukral of Aditya Birla Money recommends buying Can Fin Homes and India Cements.

June 12, 2017 / 11:16 AM IST

Hemant Thukral of Aditya Birla Money told CNBC-TV18, "We are recommending two buys in midcaps. One is Can Fin Homes. Home finance companies are seeing a lot of buying interest coming back but Can Fin Homes added 11 percent on Friday and week-on-week 37 percent open interest. Interestingly, the stock has now closed at a new high and what we feel is that today’s dip should be bought immediately. We have adjusted the stop loss to Rs 2,900 and expecting some opening gap down and we have a target of Rs 3,150 in next two to three trading sessions."

"The second midcap is an interesting one - India Cements. Even though the cement sector has not been performing so well from last week, but this stock actually rebounded very well from the base formation of Rs 207-208 on Friday and the rebound was backed up both by delivery volumes on cash front and 3 percent open interest added up on the F&O side. So, we feel that any dip on this stock should be bought into now. The base that is forming will be our stop loss. So, stop loss should be around Rs 207-208 and we are expecting the stock to outperform the sector with a target of Rs 222-224 within next two to three trading sessions," he said.
