KPIT Tech Q4 net seen up 1.3%, revenue growth likely to be mute

KPIT Tech is expected to post net profit at Rs 74.5 crore in January-March quarter, up 1.3 percent from Rs 73.5 crore in last quarter. Dollar revenue is seen up 0.5 percent at USD 124 million versus USD 123.28 million QoQ, according to a CNBC-TV18 poll. In rupee terms, revenue is seen up 2.5 percent at Rs 833.5 crore against Rs 812.9 crore on sequential basis.

During the period, EBIT may come in at Rs 102 crore (12.2 percent) against Rs 100 crore (or 12.3 percent).

Last quarter marked the shift of KPIT’s focus from profitability to boosting revenue growth, which is expected to reflect in financials starting second half of FY17. Till then, revenue growth is expected to remain muted.

Analysts polled by CNBC-TV18, feel growth may be impacted due to high manufacturing exposure.
