IIIT Hyderabad teams up with TalentSprint to launch courses for AI, machine learning

New age skills like data mining, coding, machine learning, artificial intelligence and full stack Java programming are the most in demand among companies.

International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT) is launching a four-month programme on Foundations of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) for technology professionals. The programme which commences in January 2018 will be executed with support from TalentSprint.

Asokan Pichai, Chief Product Officer, TalentSprint said that the programme comprises three modules. The complete duration of the course is 15 weeks.

As per a forecast by Gartner, about 2.3 million jobs will be created in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Deep Learning (DL) within the next three years.

Each lab batch will be of 50 people supported by a mentor. Every Master Class will be limited to 250 people.

The programme is intended for software professionals with at least a year of programming experience. On successful completion they will learn to build and deploy useful machine learning solutions. The programme requires good grasp of mathematical concepts, specifically basic linear algebra, basics of statistics and probability and optimisation,” said Pichai.

For this course, the fee will be Rs 1.77 lakh until November 15 after which it will be Rs 2.36 lakh including GST.

According to multiple reports, new age skills like data mining, coding, machine learning, artificial intelligence and full stack Java programming are the most in demand among companies.
