Demonetisation impact: It has brought in financialisation of savings, says Viral Acharya

Post demonetisation, there has been a visible channelising of money towards financial assets like insurance and mutual funds. That is the word coming in from Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) Deputy Governor Viral Acharya. Speaking at the Delhi Economics Conclave, he added that there has been a non-linear shift since November last year.
