Moneycontrol BureauShare of Tata Power Company rose 3.5 percent intraday Tuesday as it has received order from BSF to supply hand-held thermal imagers.The company's strategic engineering division has received an order from the Border Security Force (BSF) for the supply of Rajak TBC DN-1, its indigenously developed hand held thermal imafing systems."Rajak TBC DN-1 is a created in India product designed, developed and manufactured at Tata Powee SED's Optronics facility in Bangalore," as per company release.Rahul Chaudhry, CEO of Tata Power SED said, "Tata Power SED is proud to make available this third generation, indigenously designed and manufactured sight to the border security force and is looking forward to providing this latest technology to the Indian Army."The company's board meeting will be held on May 23, 2016, to consider the Audited Financial Results and recommendation of dividend, if any.At 09:55 hrs Tata Power Company was quoting at Rs 72.50, up Rs 2.35, or 3.35 percent on the BSE.Posted by Rakesh Patil
