edX marks 73% growth in India in 1 year

Non-profit global leader in online learning edX, founded by Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), registered 73 percent growth in user base over the past year.

With this, the registered user base for edX learners in India has crossed the 1 million mark.

"India is a one of our fastest growing geographies and we will continue to invest in the country to drive this growth," edX India Country Head Amit Goyal said, adding that "we are now in our second stage of growth with increased scope of corporate and strategic collaborations in India".
