Is Salman Khan losing his sheen as 'the perfect host' for Bigg Boss?

New Delhi: The hot and dynamic host of Bigg Boss 8, Salman Khan is always appreciated for his witty and jovial behaviour during the show.

The actor can be seen slamming contestants over certain issues or making fun of them.

Actor Salman Khan, who hosts the weekend episodes of TV reality game show Bigg Boss, has been hosting the show for last four seasons.

Salman often teases the contestants of the popular reality show. However, on December 14 episode, Salman got upset after one of his jokes was not taken sportingly by actress Karishma Tanna. He also reportedly walked out of the stage following an argument with Karishma.

The contestants inside the house supported Salman but as per reports Karishma's fans were not happy with Salman's behaviour.

Karishma Tanna fans even started a #IsupportKarishma hastag on Twitter and were seen agreeing to her stand.

To our surprise within few minutes Twitter was flooded with support tweets for Karishma Tanna.

It is also said that Salman is biased towards some contestants like Puneet Isaar and Gautam Gulati. Well, it is not the first time Salman is said to be biased. Even in past season Salman was slammed to have soft space for Tanishaa Mukerjee and Armaan Kholi.

Salman of course received strong reactions from people as they could see how the superstar was dealing so unfairly with fellow contestants even as Tannisha and Arman kept erring with their arguments and petty fights.

And now, history repeats itself as Salman continues to be more cautious when it comes to dealing with those who are closer to him. The case in point is Puneet Issar who continues to enjoy a different treatment from Salman compared to other contestants.

Many contestants specially Karishma Tanna face bhai's verbal assault and even a raw deal as Salman chooses to be rude with theses folks whenever he wants to. Puneet Issrar's Bollywood image though saves him from Sallu's wrath.

If we look at old episodes, some of Karishma's behaviour was not acceptable and the way Salman grilled her was appreciated by many.

But the recent incident has changed the entire scenario. Many people have supported Karishma over this particular issue.

We totally agree with Salman's behaviour and actions as it's a reality show and at the end of the day we want entertainment.

In the eight installment of Bigg Boss, contestants have failed to generate any masala for the audience so it is only Salman who is pulling the entire show on his shoulder.

There is no denying that Bigg Boss 8 is low on the level of entertainment and so being the host of the show, Salman is responsible for upgrading the TRPs.
