Varalakshmi Sarathkumar commemorating the International Women`s Day today has started a campaign “Save Shakthi” as a movement to check the violence against women. The event is being held at Valluvarkottam from 9am to 6pm today.

Many celebrities and the general public are heading towards Valluvarkottam to attest the campaign by signing for the cause. Vishal too made his appearance along with other celebrities including Jayam Ravi, Prasanna and Venkat Prabhu. Vishal and Varu have united for many social causes before and here again they have done so even as media reports are suggesting that they are no longer friends.
