Suriya's 'Si3' Recorded on Cellphone from a theater in Trichy

Actor Suriya's 'Si3' has released worldwide yesterday and also the piracy mongers have started their work. Portions of the film was allegedly live telecast using 'Facebook Live' option.

A illegal piracy website had challenged the makers that the film will be released online on the day of its theatrical release. To Madras High Court had granted an injunction restraining the release of the film in online platforms without the consent of the producers.

A team formed by Nadigar Sangam General Secretary Vishal has been monitoring the situation to prevent the generation of pirated copies of 'Si3'.

When they heard that the film is being recorded on cell phone in a theater in Trichy, a group of eight members immediately went to there and immediately confiscated the moible phones of eight persons and handed them over to the police.

The Police have registered a complaint and conducting the investiagation.

Meanwhile 'Si3' has opened to phenomenally positive reviews and it is expected to repeat the box office success of the first two parts of 'Singam' franchise.
