Spielberg opts for a rare crew change in 43 years

The most celebrated film director in the modern era Steven Spielberg has had a 43 year old collaboration with music composer John Williams, who has scored for all his films barring The Color Purple` and Bridge of Spies` which were done by Quincy Jones and Thomas Newman respectively.

Spielberg's new film, Ready Player One` will have music by Alan Silvestri, who has worked with Spielberg in his production ventures, but will team up with him for the first time in his directorial. The two times Best Director Oscar winner`s other film under production The Papers` will however have John Williams writing the music.
