The Kollywood has united in supporting the Jallikattu and the ongoing protests of the people for the conduct of the ancient Tamil sport. Many leading actors such as Sivakarthikeyan, Vijay Sethupathi and Raghava Lawrence visited Chennai Marina beach where tens of thousands of youngsters have gathered to protest for Jallikattu.

While all leading heroes have expressed their support in any form, actor Santhanam, the leading comedian who has now emerged as a hero has also spoken in favor of Jallikattu,

In the video the 'Dhillukku Dhuttu' actor says, "I don't have anything new to say about this. Jallikatu is our traditional sport. No one has any rights to ban it. I support l everyone who protests for the conduct of Jallikattu. Let's remove the ban and create new history."
