RGV chops off controversial 'Vangaveeti' song

Following the High Court's notices (with effect of stopping the issue of censor certificate) regarding 'Vangaveeti', Ram Gopal Varma and producer Dasari Kiran have decided to edit out the 'Kamma Kapu' number.

“Respecting the appellants in the court, we are voluntarily removing the song from our film with immediate effect. We are not going to continue its usage in any form or manner whatsoever starting from today,” the director-producer duo have jointly said in a statement.

As is known, the audio launch will be held on Dec 3 at Koneru Lakshmaiah University Grounds, Vijayawada. The plan is to release the movie on Dec 23.
