Rahul visit Raj residence, homage to Parvathamma

A right thought by All India Congress I Vice President Rahul Gandhi! In his visit to Bengaluru to re launch his great grandfather Jawaharlal Nehru edited newspaper National Herald` made a brief visit to Dr Rajakumar residence in Sadashivanagar to pay respect to the departed soul Dr Parvathamma Rajakumar.

In fact Rahul Gandhi grandmother Smt Indira Gandhi wanted to meet Dr Rajakumar in 1977 Chickmagaluru Lok Sabha Elections. Sensing invitation to Congress I, Dr Rajakumar was unavailable as he was totally disinterested in politics.

However it was a political visit from Rahul Gandhi the young leader. He spoke to all the sons of Dr Rajakumar in his visit and prayed for peace to departed soul.

Rahul Gandhi was accompanied by Karnataka chief Minister Siddaramaiah, power minister DK Shivakumar, Parameshwar KPCCI President, Dinesh Gundu Rao, KH Muniyappa, KJ George, SR Patil, Muralidhar Halappa and other senior Congress members.

Dr Shiv, Puneeth Rajakumar, Raghavendra Rajakumar and other family members were present at this moment. Raghavendra Rajakumar welcomed the leader of Congress I to his residence. Mr Rahul Gandhi was aware of my ill health and wished for speedy recovery stated Raghavendr Rajakumar in his address.
