In January, Jana Sena Party's chief Pawan Kalyan took up the cause of Uddanam's victims of a rare kidney-related disease in Srikakulam district. There has been noticeable progress on this front.

The issue came to be highlighted in concerned government departments. Special teams were dispatched by the AP government to present a report on the state of affairs. Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister of the State, will brief the Jana Sena chief about the developments and discuss related matters very soon.

It has been more than three months since Pawan tweeted on any political matter or social issue. The Party's social media handles have been regularly posting his quotes on a a few issues.
