As we all know top comedian Soori has acted for the first time with Silambarasan in 'Idhu Namma Aalu' which is heading for a grand worldwide release tomorrow. The combination scenes between Soori, Simbu and Nayanthara seems to have worked out hilariously if one has to go by what has been revealed in the trailers.

However Soori would not have been part of the film if its director Pandiraj had not been stubborn on casting him for the role he had written. The 'Pasanga' director revealed this in an exclusive interview to Indiaglitz:

""When I narrated the story to Simbu I had Soori in mind for the hero's friend character. Simbu ofcourse wanted Santhanam but he was busy. Then Simbu suggested another actor for the role but I did not agree and for two months this argument went. I even decided not to the film if Soori was not a part of it. At last Soori was taken on board for the project., When we shot their combination scenes, Simbu enjoyed Soori`s performance very much and kept appreciating."
