Oppam, a highly anticipating film from Mohanlal, which directed by Priyadarshan is in news again before the release. This time it`s about the remake of the film before the release. Priyadarshan would like to remake the movie in Bollywood.

Oppam is supposed to break the collection record of the mega hit Drishyam. It is a crime-fiction and Mohanlal enacts the role of a blind man who is the prime suspect in a crime he witnessed. Jayaraman is the name of the character he is playing in the movie. To prove his innocence he has to go forward to find the culprit.

Priyadarshan is now eager fully waiting for the release of the movie and audience response. Once it went smooth with in no time he will start the casting for its Hindi remake. The happiest part is even the Tamil and Telugu industries showed interest to remake the movie.

Whenever we think about Mohanlal-Priyadarsan duo, comedy- romance is the only thing which made us smile. He now thinks that he has repeated it several times. Now it`s the time to think about a new genre and hopefully it will be accepted by the audience.

The film is scheduled to release in September 2016.
