Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan has never let a chance, go from praising the legend Sivaji Ganesan who is his role model,and a couple of days ago was no different when he participated in a grand event. He said that the Nadigar Thilagam was way ahead of his time and often modeled his style on Hollywood greats like Orson Welles.

Kamal also let out that he caught the smoking habit from Sivaji Ganesan stating that ""I started smoking because of only one man. That one man who wanted us to feel like smoking is Mr Sivaji Ganesan. It was the way he did it: very enticing, inviting. I lost quite a few of my friends to cancer. It doesn't affect the character. If it is very necessary for an actor to smoke, I will.".
