During their interaction with users on Facebook, director Dolly, Ali, Shiva Balaji, Chaitanya, Ajay and Kamal Kamaraju (KK) shared their experiences regarding working on 'Katamarayudu'.

Many fans did ask Ali about what he joked with Pawan Kalyan during the pre-release event the other day, so much so the actor burst into laughter, but Ali was not forthcoming. He, in a light-veined manner, said that it was to be censored!

"It has become a nice topic to discuss for fans. Do guess what Ali might have said to him (Power Star). Do post your guesses on social media sites," the director said.

'Katamarayudu', Dolly said, has been changed to the extent of 60-70 per cent compared to the original version. He asked the audience to watch out for the romantic track involving the lead pair. The name of Shruti Haasan's character is Avantika.

Ali plays the family's 'vakeel' and pressed between the elder brother Katamarayudu and his younger brothers. "You won't get 'maza' if I just talk about the character. You have to watch it on screen," Ali adds.

Does Ajay get beaten up by Pawan, many years after he was taught a lesson in 'Khushi'? "I get scolded," he said.

"The first song shouldn't be missed. 'Mira Mira Meesam' has been shot on about 400 dancers. If you want to know how much has been spent on the making, you have to ask the producer," Dolly said.

"Even though more and more number of theatres have been added to the list, it's getting difficult for the audience to get the ticket. Kamal Kamaraju's father himself couldn't get a ticket," Ali said.

The director thinks that it's not right to expect 'Katamarayudu' to score big in terms of number of days. "Nowadays, 100 days has been replaced by the amount of collections as the number of theatres in which a film releases is huge," he said,

"I am very proud to have got to work with Pawan Kalyan sir. Even during the shoot, he would think about the current events like Demonetization and the political situation in Tamil Nadu and write down his views," he said.

Chaitanya Krishna said, "I had so far only read about the lives of great leaders. But working on this film gave me the opportunity to travel for 60 days with a leader and watch him from close quarters".

Shiva Balaji said that Power Star treats everyone as his 'sontha manishi'.

Ali concurred, saying, "The same sound engineer has been working for Pawan Kalyan garu's movies since the past few years. It was he who referred the engineer to Apollo Hospitals as he was suffering from back pain. During the making of 'Katamarayudu', Pawan garu inquired the engineer about his health".

The brothers promised to wear pancha kattu to the forthcoming promotional events.

Dolly revealed that the pancha kattu look was Pawan's idea! It was later evolved by the director. "There are no fights for the sake of fights in the movie. All the fights have a concept behind them," he said. As for dances, Dolly assures PSPK's fans that he has killed it!

By the way, the film is a hilarious entertainer, the director affirmed. Regarding the confusion over Censor rating, he said that it was U/A.

Pradeep Rawat, Rao Ramesh and Tarun Arora are the main villains, he said. Asked as to why Anup Rubens was chosen, Dolly said, "He composed for 'Gopala Gopala', a successful film. He is someone who gives a new tune if a tune is not okayed. He also gives a lot of time for each song".

Dolly is also keen on doing a straight film with Pawan. "Definitely, it will happen," he said. He also wants to see Ali direct a film with Power Star. "It will be great to watch," he said.

As a parting shot, Ali advised fans to watch the movie in the evening to get the most out of 'Jivvu Jivvu' number!
