While the first official teaser of Mammootty's The Great Father crossed the 1 million mark within one hour of its release, now the latest that we hear is the recently released teaser of Mohanlal's Villain has broken the record of the Mammootty starrer.

According to film trade analysts, Mohanlal's Villain movie teaser took only 3.07 hours to reach the milestone while The Great Father took 3.30 hours to reach the 1 million mark. With this, Mohanlal's Villain has become the fastest Malayalam teaser to cross the 1 million mark.

Just like The Great Father teaser, Mohanlal's Villain movie teaser too was directly released on Facebook using the cross-posting technique. With the amount of hype the movie has created, Mohanlal's Villain is expected to break several more records!

In the movie, Mohanlal essays the role of Mathew Manjooran, an ex-cop. The stylish crime thriller boasts a star-studded cast with the likes of Manju Warrier, Vishal, Telugu actor Srikanth, Hansika Motwani and Raashi Khanna in pivotal roles. Produced by Rockline Entertainments, the team is currently gearing up for the third schedule of the movie which is likely to hit the big screens as an Onam release.
