One of the films that is making a bid for the top of the must watch list of genuine movie lovers is Vikram-Vedha` that brings together the two solid acting powerhouses R. Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi. Husband and wife duo Pushkar and Gayathri are directing the YKnot Studios presentation.

The Vikram-Vedha` team is one who have confidence in their script and have already let out the story as the cat and mouse game between cop Vikram (Maddy) and gangster Veda (Vijay Sethupathi) based on the mythical Vikramadityan and Vedalam theme. The teaser gives us the first imagery of what to expect from the film and what is evident is both style and substance. Maddy the older actor has worked hard on his body to look young and fit while the awesome Vijay Sethupathi has acquired the look of an aging gangster as though by magic. Both the actors look stunning and convey the intensity of their roles in the few shots we get to see all dedicated to the duo.

Music director Sam C.S has gone for the oriental styled violin strings (reminds of Santhosh Naryanan) while cinematographer P.S. Vinod has framed his shots faithful to the norms of the genre. Richard Kevin has cut an action packed 54 second teaser that is as intense as its players and seduces the viewer. Looks like Pushkar and Gayathri are back to give a brand new movie experience like their previous works.
