'Katamarayudu' has come in for praise from the Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao. After watching the movie, he appreciated the makers. "Watched Pawan Kalyan's 'KatamaRayudu'. You have a sure winner Kalyan & Sharrath Marar. Appreciate the subtle but strong promotion of Handlooms," the Minister said. Pawan later took a selfie with KTR.

Of late, KTR has been maintaining warm and cordial relations with the film industry-wallahs. He may also be said to be treating the Mega family in a special way because of their standing in Tollywood. When he attended the pre-release event of 'Dhruva' as a chief guest, he described Ram Charan as a dear friend and even invoked the names of Chiru and Pawan.

It may be recalled that Pawan's recent call for a demonstration at RK Beach in Vizag for SCS to AP got the support of Kavitha, the TRS leader. The Jana Sena chief specially thanked Kavitha for the support.
