Pop star Katy Perry has irked her Indian fans after posting a picture of the Goddess Kali as a meme on Instagram page with words "current mood". There have been many voices asking her to respect the Hindu sentiments and remove the post immediately.

It may be recalled that Katy Perry hit headlines when she married comedy actor Russel Brand in a Hindu ceremony in Rajasthan in 2010. The couple however divorced in 2012.
