Kalaipuli Thanu helps out poverty ridden legendary producer's family

Legendary actor P.S. Veerappa also enjoyed the status of a frontline producer with his banner PSV Pictures bankrolling Sivaji Ganesan`s Aalayamani` and Aandavan Kattalai`, MGR`s Ananda Jothi` and Dileep Kumar`s Hindi blockbuster Aadmi`. After his death in 1998 his son PSV Hariharan also produced a few films.

Now Hariharan is poverty stricken and is unable to even pay his house rent. Kalaipuli S Thanu on hearing this immediately rushed to his house and gave him 1 Lakh rupees. The former TNFPC President stated that he had done this so that the Producer Council and the Nadigar Sangam and other celebrities will take cue and help out Hariharan and his family.
