Days after a sequel to 'Raju Gaari Gadhi' was made official, it was rumoured that Venkatesh was going to play a lead role in it. In an interview before the release of 'Babu Bangaram', the actor suggested that someone approached him with the idea and that it was not confirmed.

Looks like the project has now gone to Nagarjuna. The actor is rumouredly to be on board. To be produced by PVP, the story is learnt to have got green signal from Nag recently. Director Omkar, one wishes, has luck on his side.

After 'Soggade Chinni Nayana' and 'Oopiri', Nag got busy with 'Om Namo Venkatesaya'. If this horror comes through, he will have done yet another distinct genre movie.
