Actress Puvisha has appeared as Vedhika`s friend in director Bala`s Paradesi` and has also acted as Deepika Padukone`s sister in Chennai Express`. The Malaysian girl of Tamil origin is currently doing a Kannada film titled JIl Jil`.

There were reports in some sections of the media that Puvisha has accused the producer of the Kannada film Venkatesh Prasad and cinematographer Uday Palal of repeatedly torturing her with sexual abuse during the shooting and also kept forcing her to go to their rooms. The actress has however taken to twitter to clarify on the issue.
