The audio release function of 'Fidaa' was held on the evening of July 10th in Hyderabad. The event was graced by the film's cast and crew members, besides Sukumar, Vamsi Paidipally, Anil Ravipudi, Satish Vegesna and others.

Anil Ravipudi said, "Sekhar Kammula garu is known for 'coffee lanti manchi cinemalu'. When I watched the trailer, I felt the chemistry between Varun Tej and Sai Pallavi is on the lines of the chemistry between Pawan Kalyan garu and Bhoomika in 'Khushi'. Each of Sai Pallavi's dialogue is going to make you clap in the theatre."

Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry said, "Dil Raju garu is c/o address for hits. Sekhar is not like those who are up above the sky; he walks amongst us, feet firmly on ground. Varun Tej is maturing film after film. More than a star, he will become a very good actor in future."

Director Sukumar said, "Sekhar Kammula's face is very lively. Just as I can't make a 'Baahubali' among big movies, I can't make a 'Happy Days' among small movies. After watching 'Happy Days', my assistant told me I should do a movie like this. I felt ashamed. I did try to do it. But I failed. It's '100% Love'. Most of the short films we see on YouTube belong to the style of Kammula. When I feel I need to imbibe a flow in narration, I watch his movies. Without Dil Raju garu, I wouldn't have become a director. When I entered the film industry, the first person I met was Naga Babu garu. Varun Tej was a school boy then. Such a boy is now a tall, handsome hero."

Singer Hemachandra said, "I had been waiting for an opportunity to sing in a Sekhar Kammula film since long."

Sai Chand, the actor who is playing Sai Pallavi's father in the movie, said that Sekhar is an embodiment of humanism. "It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that Sai Pallavi is like a Savitri. Varun Tej is down-to-earth like Chiranjeevi garu, with whom I acted in 'Manchu Pallaki' some 30 years ago."

Tharun Bhascker described Sekhar as a legend. "I watched 'Happy Days' by bunking the college. We all learn a lot from him. We say to our family members that we want to be a Sekhar Kammula. I am going to watch 'Fidaa' FDFS. There is always something new to learn from him."

Vamsi Paidipally said, "I watched 'Dollar Dreams' when I was thinking about moving to US as a software engineer. I have been following your (Sekhar's) movies since then. The kind of movies Varun Tej has been choosing defines the kind of actor he wants to be. No matter how much I talk about Dil Raju garu, it's not enough. He is like a family member. He should continue to score hits, and there is my own self-interest here. Sai Pallavi is definitely going to stay for long. She is going to conquer the Telugu States with 'Fidaa'."

Suddala Ashok Teja said, "There are a few people in the industry whom successes and failures don't affect. Sekhar Kammula garu and Dil Raju are two of them. I wrote a song for Chiranjeevi garu in 'Tagore', a song for Pawan Kalyan garu in 'Khushi', a song for Ram Charan in 'GAV', and now a song for Varun Tej in 'Fidaa'. 'Vachinde' is my song. I sincerely wish that Madhu Priya (singer) gets a break with this song."

Music director Shakthikanth said, "I should thank everyone. This film will be a superb entertainer. Thank you all for listening to the music."

Dil Raju said, "'Fidaa' is like a 'Khushi'. When he was ruminating over who should be the hero, I advised Sekhar to rope in Varun Tej. Just as Pawan Kalyan garu endeared himself with 'Suswagatham' and Allu Arjun with 'Arya', this should be Varun's turn. 'Fidaa' is going to be a 'pucca' Sekhar film. I wasn't to the shoot of 'Fidaa' because when I went to US, my wife passed away. It's an irreparable loss. It's a Sekhar-style movie. When they saw 'Premam', Telugu audience were 'fidaa' over Sai Pallavi. Because of only Chiranjeevi garu that Pawan Kalyan garu and others have thrived in the industry. Without invoking his name, no function of a Mega hero can take place. Some people are comparing 'Khaidi No. 150' and 'DJ' on social media, on purpose. The former is a special film. 'DJ' doesn't stand any comparison. 'Fidaa' is a proud family entertainer. There is a sensitive father-daughter element in the movie."

Sekhar Kammula said, "I am a bit tensed. This film is like my daughter. It's vibrant, bold, honest and rebellious. I told Raju garu that I will finish the shoot in 70 days or so. But Varun Tej happened to fracture his leg. When we were filming 'Fidaa' in US under stress and expected Raju garu to set everything right, his wife passed away. It was shocking. Raju garu is this film's biggest asset. We always wanted Sai Pallavi, who is a terrific actor and dancer. Her best is yet to come. She coming on board was great, so also Varun Tej's entry on board. The film has come out really well. You will remember films like 'Khushi' and 'Toli Prema' when you see the pair. Sai Pallavi is Pawan Kalyan's fan in the movie. In a long time, Varun Tej is the most honest lover, the way the hero was in 'Toli Prema'. I am 'fidaa' over his smile. You will see in him a Chiranjeevi garu, a Pawan and a Naga Babu. Tharun Bhascker's mother has acted as 'atthamma'. She will remembered as the real 'atthamma' after this movie. Sirivennela garu's son Raja is making a comeback with 'Fidaa'. The art director, music director and the entire direction department have done a spectacular job."

Sai Pallavi said, "I made a decision to speak in Telugu on the day of audio. Thank you all for coming here. I should thank Sekhar garu for the character. This is such a good one. I became that character because of him. Even personally, I learnt a lot from him. Dil Raju garu has been so patient with us. He is like a fatherly figure. When I listen to the songs, I feel like dancing."

Varun Tej said, "I would like to thank Shakthi for the wonderful songs. Shastri garu has written for my movies earlier. I also thank Suddala Ashok Teja garu. As a child, I watched 'Anand' and 'Happy Days' at Satyam theatre. They are cult movies which nobody else could even attempt
