This mega blockbuster of Vijay was written for Ajith

Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 'Bairavaa' will be hitting the screens on for Pongal 2016. Pongal festival has been a lucky season for Ilayathalapathy has he has had many memorable blockbusters such as 'Friends'. Thirupachi' and 'Pokkiri' having released for the grand festival of Tamils.

'Thirupachi' that released for 2005 Pongal is one of the biggest blockbusters of Vijay's career and took his fan following in rural centers to bigger heights. The film marked the debut of director Perarasu. The director also worked with Thala Ajith in 'Tirupathi'.

Now in a recent interview Perarasu has revealed an interesting secret about 'Tirupachi' and his relationship with Ajith.

Perarasu said as he was the assistant director of Rama Narayanana, he knows Shalini since her days as child artist. Through that he also became acquainted to Ajith after he became Shalini's husband.

The 'Dharmapuri' director also said that whenever he met Ajith, the latter used to ask him when he is going to become a director.

Perarasu also revealed that he wrote the script of 'Tirupachi' for Ajith. However since he got Vijay's dates he went ahead with the project. When he said to Ajith that he has been committed for a project with Vijay Ajith was happy and said "All the Best".

Already many super hit and/or critically acclaimed films like 'Nanda', 'Gemini', 'Gajini' and 'Naan Kadavul' were originally written for Ajith and were missed by the star due to various reasons. Now with Perarasu's revelation there is one more addition to the long list.
