Bharathiraja plays baddie to Dhanush's villain

A new film titled Padai Veeran` is set to begin in the midst of June which has Vijay Yesudas in the lead role. It may be recalled that Vijay made his debut as villain in Dhanush`s super hit Maari` last year.

It is now learnt that Bharathiraja has signed on to play the villain in Padai Veeran` directed by one of Maniratnam`s former associates. Bharathiraja is currently directing and playing the lead in his dream project Kuttra Parambarai` and will simultaneously shoot for this new film which will be officially announced soon.
