Amala Akkineni Saturday inaugurated the Inorbit Galleria, the first ever art gallery in a mall in Hyderabad, which will host and promote new artists.

The art gallery, located at L5 level of Inorbit mall, will be a platform that will give opportunity to young artists for exhibiting their works. In addition to the inauguration, Inorbit mall in association with Artpoetic opened the exhibition "WILD WORLD" which exhibited some exceptional contemporary and modern art created by Dr. Somburu Sovara. Dr. Somburu was born and brought up in a Savara village where the entire village community is spontaneously involved to make folk and tribal art as part of the ritual practices. The exhibition displayed some exceptional work inspired by traditional influences of "SAVARA" ' an Odisha Tribe, the paintings depicting animal forms likedecorated bull, horses and elephants representing ancient art traditions and their contemporary transformation into various forms of transport or other modes of expression.

Commenting on the initiative taken by team Inorbit Hyderabad, Mr. Puneet Varma, Associate Vice President, Marketing and Corporate Communication, Inorbit Malls said, 'India has talent in abundance, but has lesser platforms to exhibit it. Inorbit is always open to create platforms for artists to showcase their skill to the audience. In Hyderabad we are the first mall to introduce an art gallery that will be available to artists to spread awareness about their talents.
