Actor and the sitting MLA of Thiruvadanai constituency Karunas has met Superstar Rajinikanth today in the latter's residence at Poes Garden, Chennai.

The Vice President of the Nadigar Sangam said that the meeting was just a courtesy call and there is nothing related to politics in his meeting with the biggest star of Tamil cinema.

Karunas is one among the 120+ MLAs who have supported the Sasikala faction and voted in favour the Chief Minister Edappadi K.Palanisamy in the Trust vote session the process which helped the CM to prove his majority in Assembly.

Karunas allegedly faced opposition from a section of people living in his constituency for not parting with the rebel faction lead by former CM O.Panneer Selvam.
