Taxi Driver With Knife In His Head Walks Into Hospital

He suffered brain trauma.

A taxi driver in Iquitos, Peru, was stabbed in the head Sunday and the knife remained lodged there as he walked into a hospital, NBC News reported in the segment above.

Neighbors discovered the man walking around in a daze, NBC said.

Clever Campos Oyarce, 28, managed to stay conscious following an argument that turned violent with suspect Henry Saldana Sousa, Spanish-language news site RPP noted. He was even able to converse with a friend.

The arrested suspect reportedly confessed to the attack, claiming that the victim stole his motorcycle taxi.

Surgeons required several hours of surgery to remove the knife. The victim suffered brain trauma, RPP reported.
