Xbox One X 4K HDR gaming console announced, available starting November 7 for $499

Microsoft at the annual E3 2017 conference introduced Xbox One X, its latest and its most powerful gaming console that was condenamed Project Scorpio. It has 4K HDR gaming, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X offering 3D spatial sound. “With 6 Teraflops, 326GB/s of Memory Bandwidth and advanced, custom silicon, the Scorpio Engine is the world’s most powerful console gaming processor,” says Microsoft

All existing Xbox One games, including Xbox Play Anywhere titles, Backward Compatible Xbox 360 games and accessories, will be compatible with Xbox One X. Those games will load faster and look and play better, on Xbox One X, says the company.

At launch, Microsoft is offering Xbox One X Enhanced versions of existing Xbox One games including Gears of War 4, Forza Horizon 3, Minecraft, Resident Evil 7, Final Fantasy 15, Rocket League, each upgraded to take advantage of Xbox One X’s additional performance. In addition, some of this year’s biggest blockbuster  including Forza Motorsport 7 will be launching in true 4K, said the company.

The Xbox One X comes in black color is priced at US$ 499 (Rs. 32,110 approx.) / 449 GBP / 499 EUR / CA$ 599 / AU$ 649 and will start rolling out to all Xbox One markets starting November 7th. It will come with 1-month free Xbox Game Pass subscription and a 14-day free Xbox Live Gold membership.
