Sony has sent out invites for its upcoming event on May 26 in New Delhi, where the firm is expected to announce another flagship Xperia device with made for India or Asia concept. Remember, we had reported that the 2015 flagship Xperia Z4 was meant for Japan-only and company is preparing one more flagship device- rumoured Xperia Z3 Plus – that will reach other markets.
Not just that, Sony in India also expected to launch the mid-range Sony Xperia M4 Aqua alongside.
Meanwhile, the Japanese firm reportedly hosting two similar events on May 27 and May 28. First, the press conference will take place in Taiwan on next Wednesday May 27, where company is expected to launch the Xperia Z3 Plus alongside Xperia C4 and Xperia Z4 Tablet devices.
The second press conference is scheduled for May 28 in Hong Kong, for which the invite notes, “Top camera, screen, sound, water and design all rolled into one”, possibly referring to anticipated Z3 Plus again. Sony is also reportedly sending four product development engineers from Japan to the Hong Kong for May 28 event to talk about the design of the new models, reported unofficial Xperia blog on Thursday.
At present we cannot say what exactly is going to launch on these three back to back events, but the Z3 Plus with made for India concept and release of the Xperia M4 Aqua seems more likely.
