BONN, Germany Germany’s foreign minister warned on Thursday that ongoing Israeli settlements in Palestinian territories could end the prospect of a two-state solution and heighten the risk of conflict in the region. “We are concerned that unlimited construction of settlements will … make a two-state solution impossible and could increase the risks of conflicts in the Middle East, including possible war,” Sigmar Gabriel told reporters in a news conference at the G20 foreign ministers meeting.
