The Vivo X20 has been priced at CNY 2,998 (approximately Rs 29,500) while the bigger X20 Plus received a price tag of CNY 3,498 (approximately Rs 34,400).

Vivo  has introduced two new smartphones, the Vivo X20 and the X20 Plus to add to its X-series lineup. The new flagships have been a part of the rumour mills for a while now and were expected to feature an 18:9 aspect ratio display along with a dual-camera setup on the back and the phones do check these boxes.

The Vivo X20 has been priced at CNY 2,998 (approximately Rs 30,000) while the bigger X20 Plus received a price tag of CNY 3,498 (approximately Rs 35,000). Pre-bookings in China for the devices start on 25 September while they will go on sale from 30 September.

Based on a report by GSMArena, the Vivo X20 packs in a large 6-inch display with 1080 x 2160 pixel Super AMOLED panel and includes the very capable Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset inside to make the package even more attractive. The X20 Plus also packs in most of the same internals as the X20, but comes with a larger 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display.

The rear dual camera module features a f/1.8 main 12 MP camera and a 5 MP secondary camera, while having a 12 MP f/2.0 dual-pixel shooter on the front for selfies. The rear cameras on the X20 Plus also brings in optical image stabilisation (OIS) to the table which the X20 lacks. Inside you get the octa-core Snapdragon 660 which is clocked at 2.2 GHz and coupled with a healthy 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage.

According to a GizmoChina report , X20 Plus gets a larger 3,905 mAh battery compared to the 3,245 mAh unit on the X20. The larger X20 Plus is also marginally heavier, courtesy of the bigger battery at 181.5 grams, as compared to the 159 gram X20. Both models come in gold, rose gold, and black colour options.
