Bollywood celebrity Zareen Khan launches her own OTT mobile application on both iOS and Android

In a new way to keep fans updated about the latest news on their favorite celebrity, Bollywood actor Zareen Khan today launched her own OTT mobile application on both iOS and Android platforms.

The app designed by Razrcorp combines the actor’s social media profiles including Facebook ,  Twitter and  Instagram , while throwing in the advantages of an OTT platform. The app allows the actor complete control of the content uploaded while also leaving an option to set up a paywall wherever the actor deems necessary. A dedicated 360 corner is also planned which the makers aim to take live soon.

The Zareen app comes with a number of sections allowing users to follow the actors’ work, social life as well a few other sections dedicated to personal wellness. A special leaderboard section has also been thrown in that helps rank fans based on their social interaction with the actor.

Announcing the launch, founder and Director of Razr Media, Anshul Gupta said, “The way clutter is increasing on social and other platforms, the future calls for personalisation in this age of Netflix . Zareen has 20 million fans in her social universe, through her app we plan to consolidate her audience on one single platform and offer niche content to dedicated fans.”

Razrcorp had earlier designed a similar OTT-based app for celebrity model and actor Poonam Pandey, while we’ve also seen Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar launch his own app earlier this year.
