Airtel introduces new data pack for Rs 399, offers unlimited calls and 1 GB data per day

Airtel has launched a new data pack for its prepaid users. The company is providing 1 GB data per day and an unlimited calling facility on the recharge of Rs 399 valid for 28 days. The new offer can only be availed by users with a 4G SIM on their device.

Reliance Jio recently announced similar plans at Rs 399. Under the offer company provides 1 GB of 4G data per day to its Prime members. The pack is valid for 84 days.

Other offers from Airtel includes a recharge of Rs 346 that provides 1 GB data for 28 days for all types of connections. The company also provides 3 GB data with 28 days of validity for 3G and 4G costumers at a recharge of Rs 347.

Reliance also introduced the  JioPhone recently. Consumers can buy the 4G VoLTE phone by paying a deposit Rs 1,500 for the phone which will be refunded after three years, on returning the phone. The phone comes with an unlimited 4G data pack with the device and supports 22 Indian regional languages. It will also include all Jio apps provided by the company including Jio Music and Jio Cinema.

The phone will be available for beta testing to users from 15 August. The phone will be shipped in September  and users can pre-book the device starting 24 August onwards. The phone comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA display and offers features like FM radio, MicroSD card slot and a torch in the phone.
