Roger Federer is through to his 12th Wimbledon semi-final with a 6-4, 6-2, 7-6 (4) win over Milos Raonic.

Federer was near-flawless in his quarter-final match.

Federer wins the tie-break 7-4.

From 0-3, Federer wins five points in a row to make it 5-3. 

The last point included an incredible banana shot that Federer whipped in to hit bang on the line. Raonic was covering the line but Federer still managed to hit outside of the ball and bend it back on to the line. 

Federer brings up match point with an ace.

And he wins!

Raonic does extremely well to win the first three points, even passing Federer on his serve.

Federer then claws back to make it 3-3.

The Serb was struggling with an elbow injury and was trailing 6-7(2), 0-2.

Another long service game that had plenty of chances for Federer to break, this time around. But Raonic comes up with a few missiles on his serve and wrestles out a hold for 6-5.

The Serbian has called for the trainer for his elbow after losing the opener.

Nervous moments for Federer as Raonic creates a break point at 5-4. 

Federer comes up with a solid second serve that Raonic can’t get back in play.

Federer fires a service winner out wide and it’s advantage for the Swiss man. 

He then dumps a forehand into the net and we are back at deuce. This is turning out to be a very interesting game.

Raonic plays the shot of teh match so far, runs down a volley from Federer and spins it past Federer for a winner. 

Federer saves the break point with another big serve that Raonic returns wide. 

Two more break point opportunities for Raonic and Federer saves them both with excellent points at the net.

Federer then brings up game point with an overhead smash hit behind Raonic. Federer FINALLY holds with a sweet half volley.

Tie-break to decide the opening set between Djokovic and Berdych.

No break points, no breaks of serve and it’s 6-6.

Federer has no trouble holding his serve this time around, wins four straight points to make it 2-2.

Raonic not doing much while returning and he will have to change that if he wants to extend this match for long. His serve is working well and keeping him ahead in the third set.

Federer holds for 1-1 in the 3rd set.

Small window of opportunity for Raonic at 0-30 but Federer quickly snuffs it out with a good serve and then a long rally on the next that had the Candian on the run.

BREAK POINT for Raonic as he forces Federer into an error but the Swiss player quickly erases it with a great 1-2 at the net. 

Federer then comes up with two crisp serves, which included an ace down the T on game point, to hold.

Meanwhile on No 1 Court, Berdych is doing a good job of holding his own against Djokovic. First set tied at 4-4 with no breaks of serve yet. No break points created by either player so far in the match.

The Swiss ace is cruising in this quarter-final so far.

Federer starts off with a forehand winner. Then follows it up with a service winner. Ace on the third point and it’s three set points for Federer.

Federer seals the 2nd set 6-2 in less than half an hour after Raonic dumps a forehand into the net.

Raonic wrestles out a tough hold for 2-5.

Federer will now serve for the second set.

On No 1 Court, the fourth quarter-final between Novak Djokovic and Tomas Berdych is under way!

Djokovic the heavy favourite in that match as he leads the head-to-head record 25-2.

Federer in complete control of the second set!

The Swiss player breaks again for a 4-1 lead. He has rarely put a foot wrong in this match so far and Raonic needs to quickly change things to make any impact.

Raonic in trouble at the very start of the 2nd set. 

Goes down a break point and then can only watch as Federer hits the ball into a corner to break. Federer leads 1-0 in the second set.

Federer secured an early break in the 5th game and didn’t look back. 31 minutes to take the first set against Raonic.

The Swiss player is the first one to break in the opening set and he’s serving quite well at the moment.

First Wimbledon semi-final for Marin Cilic and look what it means to him!

Marin Cilic defeats Gilles Muller 3-6, 7-6, 7-5, 5-7, 6-1 in a see-sawing battle.

Cilic will face Querrey in the semi-final.

Federer quickly makes it 2-2 with a service hold at 15. 

This match will involve a lot of short point and big serves.

Raonic saves break point for 2-1.

The Swiss ace hit a wonderful forehand pass to win his first point of the game and then put pressure on the Raonic serve.

Raonic saves the break point with a deep forehand that Federer could only return into the net. Deuce. 

Advantage for Raonic after Federer takes a big swing to overhot his forehand. 

Good 1-2 from the Canadian after a big serve helps him close the game out.

Raonic starts off with a love-hold, Federer responds by quickly holding in return. Four minutes in, 1-1.

The winner of this match will play the winner of the Novak Djokovic-Tomas Berdych.

Sam Querrey already into the semis, awaits winner of Gilles Muller vs Marin Cilic.

Roger Federer and Milos Raonic are out on Centre Court, warming up!

Federer will be hoping to avnege his 2016 semi-final loss to the Canadian.

At No 28, Sam Querrey is the lowest-ranked man to reach a Grand Slam semi-final since No 34 Tommy Haas at 2009 Wimbledon.

Meanwhile in the other quarter-final, Gilles Muller has forced a fifth set.

Muller wins the fourth set 7-5 against Cilic by breaking right at the end.

Novak Djokovic can take over as World No 1 if he wins Wimbledon title.

Murray’s lost four matches from 2-1 up since September: Nishikori in the US Open, Del Potro in the Davis Cup, Wawrinka in Paris and Querrey here. 

28th-ranked Querrey is the lowest player Murray’s ever lost to at Wimbledon.

Murray was in visible discomfort towards the end of his quarter-final match against Querrey.

The Brit’s hip injury could be the main reason behind his lacklustre performance.

Defending champion Andy Murray lost 12 of the last 14 games to lose to a confident Sam Querrey in five sets. 

Incredible result for the American, who reaches his first Grand Slam semi-final.

UPSET! Sam Querrey stuns World No 1 Andy Murray to progress to Wimbledon 2017 semi-final.

Querrey 3-6, 6-4, 6-7, 6-1, 6-1 Murray

Querrey won the 4th set in just 22 minutes.

Sam Querrey has levelled the match against Andy Murray. 3-6, 6-4, 6-7, 6-1. 

A very strange fourth set from the World No 1, putting up very little fight.

We are going five on Centre Court!

Querrey breaks for a THIRD time to take the fourth set 6-1.

Murray seemed disinterested towards the end of the set and was punished for it. We are going to a decider!

Murray in deep trouble as he trails 1-5 in the fourth set.

The top seed is struggling physically but seems to have mentally given up on this set. He needs to quickly regroup to find a way to fight back.

In the second quarter-final, Marin Cilic leads Gilles Muller 3-6, 7-6, 7-5.

Cilic broke right at the end of the 3rd set to take a 2-1 lead. The long five-setter that Muller played against Nadal seems to be catching up with him.

Querrey breaks again for a 4-1 lead.

The American is in full control of the fourth set as he secures a double break. Murray seems to have completely gone off the rails in the last 10 minutes.

Murray seems to be struggling with his hip injury and isn’t moving too well.

Querrey breaks in the third game of the 4th set and leads 2-1. 

He consolidates his break of serve with a tough hold from 30-all. 

Murray is hobbling now and screaming in frustration.

The defending champion is one set away from making the semi-final.

Querrey pushes Murray into the corner with some massive forehands, and he saves one set point.

Murray finally takes the set with a good, solid serve that Querrey can’t return.

Murray leads 5-1 at the change of ends in the tie-break!

First three points in the tie-break go the server’s way in the tie-break. 2-1.

Very poor miss from Querrey on an overhead volley and it’s 3-1 Murray.

Murray wins the next point by moving Querrey from corner to corner and then getting an error from him. 4-1. 

Querrey nets his return and gives Murray a big 5-1 lead at the change of ends.

Murray holds at love to send the third set into a tie-break.

Querrey was threatening with a break and a hold but Murray did well to recompose himself and find his serve when he needed it the most. Into the tie-break we go!

Querrey breaks back for 5-5.

Murray was serving for a 2-1 lead but he fell into a 15-40 hole. 

Two break points for Querrey and he makes it 5-5 with a cross-court backhand that just clips the line.

Back to the Murray-Querrey match!

Murray is serving for the third set at 5-4. He broke right at the start of this set and hasn’t relinquished his advantage since then.

Marin Cilic wins the second set 7-6 (6) to level the match against Gilles Muller.

Cilic came up with a brilliant forehand passing shot on set point to win the second set.

Cilic levels the quarter-final against Muller by winning the tie-break 8-6.

Muller hits a return winner and goes 4-2 up in the tie-break.

Cilic pulls the break back, and after an exchange of mini-breaks and and it’s 5-5.

Cilic has set point as he holds for 6-5. However, Muller saves it with a big serve to draw level at 6-6. 

Muller double faults at 6-6! It’s another set point for Cilic, this time on his own serve. And he takes it!

Tie-break to decide the second set between Cilic and Muller!

After being unable to convert a break point on Muller’s serve, Cilic does well to hold quickly and take the second set into the tie-break.

Murray bounces back to lead 3-1.

The defending champion breaks at the very start of the 3rd set. He seems really frustrated at his lapse in concentration towards the end of the second set. 

He then holds comfortably in both his service games and takes a solid 3-1 lead. Querrey, at the moment, looking a bit lost and making really silly errors.

Muller leads Cilic 6-3, 6-5*

In the other quarter-final. Muller hung on to hold a tough service game and lead 6-5. Cilic now serving to force a tie-break and avoid falling in a 0-2 hole.

Numbers from the second set between Murray and Querrey. Very disappointing serving from the top seed.

The second set swung in Querrey’s favour very quickly!

Sam Querrey levels the quarter-final against Andy Murray by winning the second set 6-4.

Fantastic fight from the American to win three straight games to close the 2nd set out.

Sam Querrey breaks for 6-4.

Set point for Querrey after Murray dumps a backhand at 30-30. Murray saves it by driving a cross-court bakchand hard into Querrey’s weaker backhand side. Deuce.

Murray then overcooks his forehand by a mile and it’s set point again for Querrey. 

The American takes it this time by pouncing on a short return from Murray and drilling his backhand into the corner, far out of Murray’s reach! Querrey breaks for 6-4.

Murray is frustrated to let his 4-3 lead slip away in the second set.

Muller leads Cilic 6-3, 4-3*

Meanwhile on Court No. 1, the match is on serve. Muller leads 6-3, 4-3* over Marin Cilic.

Querrey holds with three humongous serves! Two aces followed by an unreturnable serve down the T and Querrey is back in the lead. 5-4.

Querrey breaks back to even the set at 4-4.

The 24th seed responds instantly. Murray hits a fail dropshot to gift his opponent two break points.

Querrey needs only one as he hammers a volley away at the net to break.

Murray breaks for 4-3.

Murray with a break point on Querrey’s serve at 3-3 but he dumps a backhand slice into the net. 

Querrey comes up with two big serves on the next two points but Murray forces deuce with a lovely lob. 

Murray wins the next two points to break.

Querrey playing much better in the second set.

The American holds with an ace out wide for 3-2.

16th seed Gilles Muller continuing with the good form that helped him knock out Rafael Nadal.

Muller takes the opener 6-3 against Marin Cilic to move within two sets of the semi-finals.

A comfortable service hold at 30 and Murray has taken the first set 6-3 in just 28 minutes.

On No 1 Court, Marin Cilic is locked at 3-3 in the first set with Gilles Muller. Cilci has never progressed beyond the quarter-final here at Wimbledon while Muller is playing in his first ever Grand Slam last-eight match.

Sam Querrey finally gets on board!

The American stops the bleeding at three games and holds at 1-3.

A hold and break from Murray to start off the match and he leads 2-0 in just 4 minutes!

Confident start from the top seed and the defending champion as he has just dropped one point in the opening two games against Sam Querrey.

The players are out on court and are warming up! We are minutes away from live action.

Novak Djokovic has been utterly dominant in a majority of the 27 contests between him and Tomas Berdych. Djokovic leads 25-2 against he Czech 11th seed with his last defeat coming at 2013 in Rome. So, based on stats alone, you would expect the result to be pretty straightforward.

Roger Federer, bidding for a record eighth Wimbledon, faces Milos Raonic today. This is the third time in four years they are facing each other at the tournament. Federer beat Raonic in the 2014 semifinals but Raonic prevailed in the semi-final a year ago. So, it should make for an intriguing encounter.

This is what’s in store today at Wimbledon. We’re just an hour away from live action.

Marin Cilic and Gilles Muller have met just twice so far in their careers and the 7th seeded Croatin won on both occasions. What works in Cilic’s favour is the fact that one of those wins came in the semi-finals of the pre-Wimbledon tournament, Queen’s Club Championships.

World No 1 Andy Murray faces big-serving Sam Querrey in his bid to make his 8th Wimbledon semi-final in the last nine years. He leads Querrey 7-1 with the 24th-seeded American’s only win coming in Los Angeles seven years ago.

With the shock exit of Rafael Nadal, the remaining “Big Three”, Roger Federer, Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic, will be hoping to substantiate their credentials in today’s quarter-finals.

Yesterday, the Wimbledon women’s singles semi-finalists were decided.

Venus Williams won a cross-generation battle against French Open champion Jelena Ostapenko to set up a semifinal clash against British Wimbledon hope Johanna Konta.

Wimbledon 2015 runner-up Garbine Muguruza stormed into the semi-final beating Russian seventh seed Svetlana Kuznetsova and will meet tournament surprise Magdalena Rybarikova.
