Highlights, India vs England, 3rd T20I: Hosts win by 75 runs, pocket the series 2-1
11:00 PM (IST)

That’s it from us on our coverage of the final T20I between India and England at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday, as well as for England’s marathon tour of India that finally comes to an end after nearly three long months. We certainly hope you enjoyed our coverage, and that we were able to update you on a consistent basis.

Thank you for your time and attention. We hope to serve you again in the future, with the one-off Test between India and Bangladesh coming up on 9th of this month. Till then, goodbye!

10:47 PM (IST)

10:47 PM (IST)

Amit Mishra: I wanted to focus on variations and spinning the ball,a nd it worked. IJt built pressure and wickets fell at the other end. Chahal and I had been talking at the nets on how to bowl on this wicket and which areas to target so that runs can be saved and boundaries can be cut down.

10:45 PM (IST)

Virat Kohli: Coming back here after a while, been a while since I played the IPL finals, and this was an occasion that demanded us to give our very best. It’s not a very bad thing when you have MS Dhoni behind the stumps, as well as Nehra and Yuvraj. Im new to the limited-overs captaincy, and I’m glad to have them around. Decision to bring Bumrah when I was thinking of Hardik would go to them. One over from Jordan to Yuvi changed the game for us. Having two spinners on a dry wicket, we always knew we would get chances.

Credit to Chahal for getting five wickets in two overs, which turned the game completely. I have a lot of faith in him, and he plays with confidence and is not shy of getting hit. He has to maintain it, including his originality. He doesn’t have to nudge, I wanted him to go at No 4. We literally had to tell him we’ll use him at No 4 as a floater. He’s a champion player, and there is no doubt about it. It’s a memorable series win for us. To consolidate this way at home takes a lot of character. It’s been a brilliant couple of months for the Indian team. Going forward, we know exactly what is to be done.

10:45 PM (IST)

Yuzvendra Chahal: I liked it a lot because I played my first game for India at this ground. I have the confidence of bowling in the circle, which Virat backs as well. Also get a lot of confidence from the tips that I get from Dhoni and Kohli. Mishra had bowled really well in the last game, as well as in this one. Had never dreamt of getting six wickets in a T20I innings.

10:40 PM (IST)

Yuzvendra Chahal wins the Man of the Series award!

10:40 PM (IST)

Jasprit Bumrah is the Jana Bankable Player of the Series!

10:39 PM (IST)

Yuzvendra Chahal is the Man of the Match for his incredible figures of 6/25.

10:38 PM (IST)

MS Dhoni is the Jana Bankable Player of the Match award.

10:37 PM (IST)

England captain Eoin Morgan: We considered it a fatal error losing two batsman. Spell of bowling from Chahal to produce that, you’ve got to give credit where it is due. Beautiful wicket to bat on with a small boundary, would have taken to 190 at the beginning of the game. We take a lot of things from this series. We have shown significant improvement in the bowling department. In batting, we chased down 150 in the first game. That was quite convincing. India played well, and we are very disappointed we lost the series.

10:37 PM (IST)

Time for the presentation…

10:36 PM (IST)

10:30 PM (IST)

10:29 PM (IST)

Yuvraj Singh: Dhoni and I have a good understanding. He can play big shots, while I can take one or two overs to settle down. Bangalore is a batting paradise. The wicket was gripping and there was a bit of spin. In Bangalore 200 is a par score. Things change quite quickly in T20s. It was a great performance by the bowlers; it is because of the bowlers that we won the game today.

10:28 PM (IST)

10:22 PM (IST)

England lose their last eight wickets for just 8 runs, in a space of 19 deliveries. That speaks volumes about England’s mindset in this game, with the middle and lower-order simply failing to recover after a couple of dismissals, getting bundled out to concede a 75-run defeat. That means England are heading to the Caribbean without any silverware in the marathon tour. What a disappointing way for them to fly out of the south Asian country.

India lift the trophy after winning the series 2-1, having lost the first match by seven wickets!

10:18 PM (IST)

10:18 PM (IST)

OUT! THAT’S IT! India win by 75 runs! England end up losing their last eight wickets in 19 deliveries! That’s how spectacular a collapse this was! Mills ends up getting a bottom-edge off his bat, with the ball carrying away to Kohli in the slips for England’s resistance to come to an end in this match!

Tymal Mills c Kohli b Bumrah 0(2)

10:16 PM (IST)

WICKET! And India are just one wicket away from a massive win here! Bumrah back into the attack, and rattles Plunkett’s stumps to remove him for a golden duck! India need just 1 wicket now to win the series 2-1!

Liam Plunkett b Bumrah 0(1)

10:15 PM (IST)

England 127/8 in 16 overs (Plunkett 0)

Four runs and thee wickets for Chahal in this over. The over that has virtually sealed the deal for the hosts! Chahal finishes with figures of 6/25 after four overs!

10:14 PM (IST)

WICKET! And that’s NUMBER SIX for Chahal! This time, Jordan comes down the track looking for a big one, and ends up missing the line of the leg-spinner completely, getting stumped for a two-ball duck in the process! What a spell, Chahal! Take a bow!

Chris Jordan st Dhoni b Chahal 0(2)

10:13 PM (IST)

WICKET! Chahal completes his first five-wicket haul in T20Is, with Ben Stokes becoming his latest victim! What a spell this has been for Chahal, who is playing in front of his home crowd, if the Indian Premier League (IPL) is concerned. After a boundary, Stokes looks to clear the cow-corner boundary, and ends up holing it straight to Raina. The fielder has to balance himself just outside the boundary rope, and nearly falls over, but gains composure in the end.

Ben Stokes c Raina b Chahal 6(7)

10:09 PM (IST)

WICKET! And its a collapse now! Moeen comes down the track, looking to clear the long-on rope, and ends up getting a bottom-edge off a googly. Chahal gets his fourth wicket now, and England are facing a certain defeat at this point! The ball goes high up in the air, and Kohli takes a well-judged catch near long-on.

Moeen Ali c Kohli b Chahal 2(3)

10:08 PM (IST)

England 123/5 in 15 overs (Stokes 2, Moeen Ali 2)

Excellent over by Bumrah, giving away just four singles in this over while getting rid of hard-hitting keeper-batsman Buttler. Englands face an uphill task from this point onwards, with Stokes facing the responsibility of leading the visitors’ charge. England need 80 off 30 balls.

10:06 PM (IST)

OUT! Now its Bumrah’s turn to party, after Buttler top-edges a short delivery outside off to Kohli, who runs in from mid-off. England lose their fifth wicket in no time!

Jos Buttler c Kohli b Bumrah 0(2)

10:02 PM (IST)

England 119/4 in 14 overs (Buttler 0, Stokes 0)

Chahal operating from the other end. And goes on to bowl what could turn out to be the game-changing over, removing the set pair of Morgan and Root off successive deliveries to peg England back. Buttler and Stokes suddenly find themselves on sticky wicket at the moment, with England needing another 84 to win from 36 balls.

10:00 PM (IST)

OUT! What an over this is turning out to be for Chahal and India! Root returns to strike after crossing over, and fails to pick a quicker delivery along off from the leg-spinner to, getting trapped plumb lbw to depart for 42. England are in the dire straits at the moment!

Joe Root lbw Chahal 42 (37)

OUT! Rishabh Pant redeems himself after the mix-up with Yuvraj earlier in the innings, taking a well-judged catch at deep midwicket, as Yuzvendra Chahal strikes once again to get his second wicket. England skipper Morgan departs for 40, as the visitors lose their third wicket with 119 on board.

Eoin Morgan c Pant b Chahal 40(21)

England 117/2 in 13 overs (Root 41, Eoin Morgan 39)

Mishra into his final over. Couple of singles to start things off, nearly foxing Morgan with a googly in the second ball. DROPPED! Yuvraj and Pant run towards the ball near short third man, and Yuvraj ends up spilling the catch after Pant collides with him. Root tried to slog that, but ended up getting a leading edge.

Excellent final over by Mishra, conceding just three off it and nearly getting another wicket. Finishes with figures of 1/23 after 4 overs. England need 86 off 42.

England 114/2 in 12 overs (Root 40, Eoin Morgan 38)

Raina into the attack. SIX! First big hit for Morgan, coming down the ground and lofting over wide long-on, before getting a consecutive six with a slog over long-off. That brings up the 50-stand between the two. Raina loses some of his focus, and concedes a wide in the fourth ball. SIX! Third one in the current over! Morgan pulls it away towards backward square-leg! The two exchange singles in the last two balls. Huge over for England, with 22 coming off it! England need 89 off 48.

England 92/2 in 11 overs (Root 38, Eoin Morgan 19)

Mishra continuing from the other end. Fires a wrong ‘un in the second delivery, taking Root by surprise. The two pillars of the English batting order deal in singles in this over, getting only six off it. England need another 111 to win from 54 balls.

England 86/2 in 10 overs (Root 36, Eoin Morgan 15)

Pandya into his second over. Morgan and Root rotate the strike in the first three deliveries. SIX! Root walks down the pitch, and pulls away towards over the midwicket boundary into the crowd! Two dots to end the over, with England needing another 117 to win from 10 overs at the halfway mark.

England 77/2 in 9 overs (Root 29, Eoin Morgan 13)

FOUR! After getting off the mark in the previous over, captain Morgan gets his first boundary, driving it through cover. Reverse-sweeps the next ball towards third-man to get into the groove. Drives it through extra-cover in the third ball, this time getting a double. Pressure on Mishra. Three singles scored in the remainder of the over, with a total of 13 coming off it.

England 64/2 in 8 overs (Root 28, Eoin Morgan 1)

SIX! Root simply flicks the first ball of the over over the midwicket boundary to get his first big hit. Edges the next ball, though the ball falls short of Dhoni’s gloves. Two more singles scored in the remainder of the over, with a total of eight coming off it.

England 56/2 in 7 overs (Root 21, Eoin Morgan 0)

Mishra into the attack in the first over after powerplay, with the hosts growing anxious with the flourish that Roy and Root are in at the moment! Mishra however, strikes in his very second ball of the spell, a Roy gets the bottom-edge while looking to sweep a delivery pitched well outside off. Brilliant first over by Mishra, giving away just 1 run while getting an important wicket.

OUT! Amit Mishra is introduced into the attack in the first over after powerplay, and gets rid of the dangerous-looking Roy in his very second delivery, after the latter top-edges in an attempted sweep off a wide-pitched delivery. Keeper MS Dhoni is not one to let go of such chances.

Jason Roy c Dhoni b Mishra 32(23)

England 55/1 in 6 overs (Roy 32, Root 20)

Nehra continuing from the other end. Starts off with a wide down leg side. Root sets off for a quick single in the fourth delivery, and Pandya promptly collects the ball and throws it towards the non-striker’s end. The ball appears to have brushed past the stumps, with the bails remaining intact. Roy and Root smash a boundary each to end in the remaining deliveries, with 11 coming off the over. England progressing at a decent rate right now, with the 50 coming up for them in the final over of powerplay.

WHAT.A.SHOT.

England 44/1 in 5 overs (Roy 27, Root 15)

BUmrah, India’s hero in the previous game, gets introduced into the attack for the first time. FOUR! Stand and delivery by Roy at the start of the over. Dot to follow, as Bumrah cramps the batsman for room. Root finds the gap between backward point and third-man with a top-class cut in the fifth ball of the over. 10 runs off the over.

England 34/1 in 4 overs (Roy 22, Root 10)

FOUR! ROy batting with the authority that has made him a first-choice opener in this format! Sweeps the first ball, with the ball sailing over short fine-leg and backward square-leg. Gets an inside-edge in the second ball, with Nehra preventing the ball from carrying over the fine-leg boundary. Another good over for England, with nine coming off it.

England 25/1 in 3 overs (Roy 14, Root 9)

Nehra into his second over. Roy gets an inside-edge in first ball of the over that carries all the way to the fine-leg boundary, before Root gets his first 4 with a cut towards backward point, following it up with a pull towards back of square for his 2nd 4. 13 off the over, with the visitors getting some of the momentum back after the dismissal of Billings.

England 12/1 in 2 overs (Roy 1, Root 1)

Chahal introduced into the second over, and Roy goes for a reverse-sweep to get a six over sweeper point! Brilliantly timed by Roy in his shot! Loud appeal for a catch against Roy in the second ball, with Roy setting off for a single nevertheless. Chahal gets the early strike in the third delivery of the over, with Billings getting caught by Raina in bizarre fashion. Roy survives a clear run-out chance after Chahal fails to look at the non-striker’s end. Three runs off the final ball, with the ball going away towards fine-leg, as 11 runs are scored in the over.

OUT! Chahal, another Royal Challengers Bangalore boy in the team today, gets rid of the dangerous Billings early in the innings! Billings comes down the track, gets an inside-edge on to his boot, from where it deflects onto his pad towards the slip fielder! Raina takes a fine catch, and the umpire goes upstairs to review the dismissal. Golden duck for Billings.

Sam Billings c Raina b Chahal 0(1)

England 1/0 in 1 over (Roy 0, Billings 0)

Nehra appeals loudly for an lbw in the very first ball of the innings, with umpire Nitin Menon repeatedly shaking his head. Four dot balls follow, before Nehra concedes a leg-bye off the last ball to start off on an excellent note!

Jason Roy and Sam Billings walk out to bat at the start of England’s innings, with Ashish Nehra set to bowl the first over.

Meanwhile, South Africa ride on centuries by Faf du Plessis and David Miller to set a 308-run target for Sri Lanka in the second ODI. Stay updated on the match with the full scorecard and live ball-by-ball commentary here .

Suresh Raina: It was good to be honest. The wicket was two-paced, and you need to play a lot of straight shots. They were doing a lot of variations with the slower balls. You have to take the initiative in the six overs, and play positively. Bangalore is always a good crowd to come here, and they always supported each player from IPL and other teams. 200 will not be a safe score for this pitch.

India 202/6 in 20 overs (Pant 6)

Jordan starts the final over off with a wide. FOUR! Dhoni hammers the full-toss down the ground, with the mid-off fielder barely able to do anything other than watch it zip past. OUT! Short ball from Jordan, with Dhoni top-edging it to short fine-leg where Rashid holds on, to depart for 56 off 36 balls. Pandya walks out to bat, and hammers the ball down the ground to get a double. SIX!  Pandya hammers it towards long-on, where the ball lands in Jason Roy’s hands, before popping out to eventually land just past the boundary rope. Superb yorker in the fifth ball, although Pandya still manages to get a double to bring up the 200 for the hosts. Pandya hammers the ball down the ground, and gets run-out while coming back for a risky second.

Hardik Pandya run-out (Stokes/Buttler) 11(4)

OUT! Short ball from Jordan, with Dhoni top-edging it to short fine-leg where Rashid holds on, to depart for 56 off 36 balls. What an innings by the wicket-keeper batsman, getting to the 50-run mark for the first time in T20Is.

MS Dhoni c Rashid b Jordan 56(36)

Dhoni on strike for the final over. Jordan to bowl it.

India 186/4 in 19 overs (Dhoni 52, Pant 6)

Mills makes a terrific comeback with a slower back-of-length delivery that foxes Yuvraj, and gets his top-edge to get caught behind for 27. Meanwhile, debutant Rishabh Pant walks out for the first time in his career, and gets his first run with a pull towards the leg side. Nine runs in the over, with Pant getting his first international boundary, this time pulling the ball towards backward square-leg.

OUT! What a delivery by Mills to get rid of the dangerous-looking Yuvraj! Takes pace off the first ball, bowling an off-cutter, with the ball staying remarkably low after being pitched short of length. Yuvraj gets foxed by the unusual behaviour of the ball, and ends up getting a top-edge to the keeper. What a knock nevertheless!

Yuvraj Singh c Buttler b Mills 27(10)

India 177/3 in 18 overs (Dhoni 50, Yuvraj 27)

Jordan back into the attack. Dhoni brings up his maiden T20 fifty with a single at the start of the over, before Yuvraj gets into the aggressive mould with back-to-back sixes along the long-on region! Jordan made the mistake of pitching the ball up into the region for Yuvraj to connect properly, and paid the price for the same. Jordan tries a slower ball in the next ball, but Yuvraj simply guides this one towards backward square-leg.

SIX MORE! Chris Jordan, among England’s best bowlers in the series so far, is getting hammered all over the park. And it was a simple lift of the bat by Yuvraj this time, getting the ball to sail over his favourite region once again. Jordan gets back at his tormentor in the final delivery with a yorker, which gives away just one run. What an over for the Indians, with 24 coming off it!

MAIDEN T20 FIFTY for MS Dhoni in 66 innings! What a knock this has been so far for the former India captain! Has hammered four 4s and two 6s in the innings so far, and will look to get India all the way to a massive score tonight!

India 153/3 in 17 overs (Dhoni 49, Yuvraj 4)

FOUR! Dhoni comes down the ground in the first delivery, and smashes it past mid-off to get the ball rolling away to the long-off rope. Hits the next one towards deep midwicket, with the fielder fumbling a bit to allow Dhoni to return for a second run. The ex-captain simply stands and delivers, hammering it towards wide long-on, with the ball falling just short of the boundary rope.

India 142/3 in 16 overs (Dhoni 38, Yuvraj 4)

Mills back into the attack for his third over. FOUR! Dhoni guides this one down towards fine-leg to get his second four, before setting out for a single. Wide conceded in the fifth ball, with Mills starting to lose his rhythm at this stage.

India 132/3 in 15 overs (Dhoni 31, Yuvraj 2) Yuvraj gets off the mark with a single at the start of the over, with the duo exchanging the strike over the next couple of deliveries. Dhoni guides the penultimate delivery between backward point and third man, getting his first 4 of the innings and moving to the 30s.

India 132/3 in 15 overs (Dhoni 31, Yuvraj 2)

Yuvraj gets off the mark with a single at the start of the over, with the duo exchanging the strike over the next couple of deliveries. Dhoni guides the penultimate delivery between backward point and third man, getting his first 4 of the innings and moving to the 30s.

Moeen Ali has been the most economical bowler in this series so far, and leaked a run too many for the first time today.

India 124/3 in 14 overs (Dhoni 25, Yuvraj 0)

SIX! Dhoni gets his second six, executing the slog with a high backlift, and getting enough elevation to clear the long-on boundary, with the fielder stationed over there being a mere spectator. That also  brings up the 50-stand between him and Raina! No sooner has the milestone been brought up when Raina miscues an off-cutter to get dismissed for 63. Yuvraj walks out now. 11 runs and a wicket in this over.

OUT! Suresh Raina tries attempts yet another slog, but ends up slicing an off-cutter by Plunkett towards the off-side cordon, and ends up getting caught by opposition skipper Morgan just outside cover.

Suresh Raina c Morgan b Plunkett 63(45)

India have scored 46 runs in the last 5 overs. What a recover for the hosts!

India 113/2 in 13 overs (Raina 63, Dhoni 14)

SIX! Raina dances down the track, gets close to the pitch of the delivery and lofts it over long-on to bring up the 100 for India. Dhoni tries to get his second boundary by swinging his bat wildly, but fails to connect. Four byes in the last ball, with the ball turning away sharply to beat both Raina and the keeper, and run away to fine third-man.

India 99/2 in 12 overs (Raina 55, Dhoni 12)

Raina hammers the first ball straight into Rashid’s hands, and the bowler fails to latch on to the ball to let Raina go for 47. SIX! Dhoni gets the strike, and smashes the googly into the stands beyond the cow-corner boundary to get his first boundary of this innings. What a powerful strike that was!

SIX! What a way for Suresh Raina to bring up his half-century! Gets down on one knee, and lofts it over deep midwicket to get to the milestone for the first time in 46 innings! What a knock this has been by the southpaw! Fourth fifty for him, and he gets there in 38 balls!

India 84/2 in 11 overs (Raina 47, Dhoni 5)

And it is spin from both sides indeed. Dhoni and Raina exchange singles in the first two deliveries of the over. Dhoni looks to smash the third ball, with Moeen pulling his length back in the last minute to cramp Dhoni for room. Six runs scored in the over, with the duo having to rely on 1s and 2s at the moment.

India 78/2 in 10 overs (Raina 43, Dhoni 3)

Adil Rashid introduced into the attack for the first time, with spin seemingly being deployed from both ends. Raina guides the third ball of the over towards backward point for his second four. Goes finer in the next delivery to get a couple of runs, with the southpaw currently batting in the 40s. Meanwhile, India reach 78/2 at the half-way mark in their innings, and need a lot more push if they are to get to a competitive total.

Meanwhile, the delivery in which Stokes got Rahul’s wicket was actually a FRONT-FOOT NO-BALL! how unlucky was Rahul there!

India 70/2 in 9 overs (Raina 36, Dhoni 2)

Back-to-back good overs for England here, with Moeen bowling a tight one from the other end, giving away just three singles in it. Rahul’s wicket has halted India’s progress a tad, and gives England a chance to restrict the hosts as much as they can.

India 67/2 in 8 overs (Raina 34, Dhoni 1)

Dhoni has been promoted ahead of the likes of Yuvraj and Rishabh Pant in today’s game, and he will look to forge a decent partnership with Suresh Raina, someone he understands quite well given the amount of time they have played together for India as well as Chennai Super Kings. Superb over by Stokes, with just three runs being conceded by the all-rounder, while getting the crucial wicket of local boy Rahul.

BOWLED EM! Stokes proves his usefulness for captain Morgan once again! Rahul looks to slog this over midwicket, and ends up playing down the wrong line to get his middle-stump knocked!

KL Rahul b Stokes 22(18)

India 64/1 in 7 overs (Rahul 22, Raina 32)

Moeen introduced into the attack, with Morgan opting for spin for the first time in this innings. Raina takes a single in the second ball to bring up the 50-stand for the second wicket. SIX! Rahul comes down the track, and lofts it straight over the umpire’s head, and the ball is ON THE ROOF! The ball may have very well gone out of the stadium onto Brigade Road nearby! Rahul tries to slog the fifth ball towards the off-side, with the ball landing just short of the fielder.

Suresh Raina takes a single in the second ball of the over to bring up the 50-stand! He, along with Rahul, has done well to bring India back to their feet after the early dismissal of Kohli!

India 53/1 in 6 overs (Rahul 13, Raina 30)

Jordan returns to the attack, and starts off with a slower one that deceives Rahul. SIX! Raina hooks the next ball, and the ball gains enough elevation and distance to cross the deep square-leg boundary. SIX MORE! Raina makes some room for himself, and guides the ball over long-leg to bring up the second six of the innings, and the team 50. End of powerplay, with the hosts seemingly having recovered so far.

India 39/1 in 5 overs (Rahul 13, Raina 17)

Another bowling change, this time Stokes coming in from the other end. Raina tries to go big in the first ball, but the ball barely manages to go past the cover fielder to get him a double. Another mishit by Raina in the next delivery, and it took some miscommunication between Jordan and Ali on the leg side for Raina to survive. Raina steers the final delivery, pitched outside off, through backward point in the fifth ball.

India 29/1 in 4 overs (Rahul 12, Raina 10)

Plunkett into the attack. FOUR! Rahul and Raina are starting to accelerate the innings right now, simply using his wrists in the first ball to send it towards midwicket, before lofting the second one over extra-cover for a second-consecutive one-bounce four. A much better over for the Indians with 12 coming off it, including a single off the last ball.

India 17/1 in 3 overs (Rahul 2, Raina 9)

Raina looks to loft the first delivery over mid-off, but lack of power in the shot results in the ball landing just short of the fielder. Sets off for a quick single a couple of deliveries later. Vicious bouncer by Mills in the fourth delivery, and boy is he getting some bounce today! SIX! What a way to end the over, as Raina steers the pitched-up delivery straight over sweeper cover! Nine runs off the over.

India 8/1 in 2 overs (Rahul 1, Raina 2)

Jordan’s presence of mind and agility, as well as some poor communication between Kohli and Rahul results in India’s loss of their first wicket. Raina walks out to bat, and gets greeted with a wide. Meanwhile, Kohli earlier had a disappointed look on his face after getting run-out, although there was not much that Rahul could do, as the run was too risky for this stage.

OUT! Big mix-up between Kohli and Rahul, and the former is already halfway down the pitch by the time Jordan runs up to the bowl, and hits the striker’s stumps! Kohli once again disappoints. The Chinnaswamy crowd has been silenced!

Virat Kohli run out (Jordan) 2(4)

India 4/0 in 1 over (Kohli 2, Rahul 1)

Mills starts off with a rising delivery, defended by Kohli, before conceding a wide in the next delivery. Kohli runs off for a single in the next ball, and even though that looked like it came off his thigh pad, it has been signalled as the first run on the board for the hosts. Couple of more singles follow, as Mills starts off well by giving away just 4 in his first over.

Tymal Mills to start the proceedings off for England, with Kohli and Rahul walking out to bat for India.

Rishabh Pant, who makes his international debut in the 3rd T20I today, had earlier spoken about how playing cricket in Delhi made him a fearless cricketer. Read the full exclusive interview here .

India XI: Virat Kohli (c), KL Rahul, Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh, Rishabh Pant, MS Dhoni (wk), Hardik Pandya, Amit Mishra, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah, Ashish Nehra.

England XI: Jason Roy, Sam Billings, Joe Root, Eoin Morgan (c), Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler (wk), Moeen Ali, Adil Rashid, Liam Plunkett, Tymal Mills, Chris Jordan

One change each for both India and England — Rishabh Pant replaces Manish Pandey for the hosts, while Liam Plunkett comes in place of Liam Dawson for England

Toss: England complete a hat-trick of toss wins, and captain Eoin Morgan elects to field yet again!

Big news coming in ahead of the 3rd T20I! Rishabh Pant makes it to the team today.

Pitch report: This is not a good looking pitch, with the cracks on it. But they will not have much of an effect. The odd balls will keep low. It will be a slow, and a high-scoring pitch. It is likely to be a 160-game. This is going to be a cracker of a game. If I would pick Plunkett, if I were to pick the England XI. The dew will be a bit of a factor, but the captains will look to field first. But I personally would look to bat first.

India vs England, 3rd T20I: Team holding nerves in business end of the match will come up trumpshttp://www.firstpost.com
