Luiz Felipe Scolari has named his 23-man squad for the World Cup on home soil, and he has left out a host of big names from it — Kaka, Ronaldinho, Alexandre Pato, Philippe Coutinho, Lucas Moura and Lucas Leiva have all missed out.
Scolari has stuck 17 of the 23 players who won last year’s Confederations Cup — beating world champions Spain in the final.
Six Premier League stars were included in the squad – Tottenham’s Paulinho, Manchester City’s Fernandinho and Chelsea’s Oscar, David Luiz, Willian and Ramires all made the cut.
