Raipur: Sunrisers Hyderabad head coach Tom Moody said on Thursday that Delhi Daredevils had some “dangerous players” and the team needed to play their best cricket to beat them in the Indian Premier League in Raipur on Friday.
“Delhi is a very good side as they have defeated us on our home ground. We know they are a very good (and) competitive side with some dangerous players amongst them.. We need to play our best game tomorrow to secure (the) winning points,” the former Australian player told reporters at the pre-match conference in Raipur.
He also hoped that his side will continue the momentum.
Over a query on the replacement of pacer Ashish Nehra, who has been ruled out of the rest of the IPL with a hamstring injury, Moody said that they would make the decision tonight as there were a number of options.
“Left-arm seamer Barinder Sran can be brought in or any spin option,” he quipped.
Sunrisers, who have won 8 of their 12 games, lead the table with 16 points.
