Czech Republic’s early exit from the Euro 2016 seems to have given veteran goalkeeper Petr Cech an opportunity to work on acquiring skills for a possible alternate career.
Čech hit the ground running at this year’s Wimbledon on Monday, bringing to the court his athleticism and making full use of those strong, reliable hands which have saved Chelsea and Arsenal’s blushes over the years.
After the day’s photogenic performance, the only thing that perhaps could threaten his position seem to be his age.
Well, you don’t see that many 34-year-old ball ~men~ boys running around, do you?
Čech’s was spotted helping out his fellow countryman Radek Stepanek during a practice session ahead of the Wimbledon draw.
Although a bit difficult to recognise without his now trademark helmet, we assure the skeptics that its definitely Čech.
