The former Delhi Chief Minister said BJP had won the Lok Sabha elections and formed government playing the development card but failed to deliver on its promises.

“They won on the grounds of development. They had promised that ‘ache din’ will come. In the past six months they have been seen talking about issues like Love Jihad and religion conversion. Where is development?” he asked.

“There had been no riots in Delhi since 35 years but they took place after BJP came to power. If public had known all this will be happening, they would have never voted in favour of them,” he added.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader however refused to comment when asked whether his party will advocate an ‘anti-conversion’ law if voted to power.
