The photo journalist who wrote to Firstpost says, “When the lathi didn’t work, they pushed me and two other photographers back. I saved myself and my camera, while the other two fell down with their cameras. I was shooting with two cameras and two lenses. Camera equipment is expensive and I can neither afford a new one nor afford to fix it if it is damaged.” Firstpost

He went on to add, “I don’t understand why the police is doing this. They said it is for our protection, but what sort of protection is this? I heard that Sanjay Dutt gave a photo shoot normally and politely at the airport as well as at his residence. But the Mumbai police’s behaviour at Siddhivinayak was very bad.”  He also mentioned the Sub-Inspector’s name - Hindurao Shivaji Chaudhari. Firstpost
