As per preliminary information, three villagers from Kudur area were abducted by Naxalites on 4 April while two others on Tuesday.

Subsequently, the ultras held a ‘Jan Adalat’ late Tuesday night around 15 km away from Kudur in Tilam-Becha area which falls in Narayanpur district, the SP said.

“In the Jan Adalat, two villagers were reportedly executed whereas three others released,” he added.

The exact reason behind their killing was being ascertained. However, the information suggests that they were accused of acting as police informers, he said.

Police said security personnel have been rushed to the spot.

Becha area is said to be the strong base of the Maoists military cadres which lies on the tri-junction of Bastar-Kondagaon-Narayanpur districts around 400 km away from Raipur.
