 "Cops recover powerful IED from Assam bus, army defuses bomb")
Rangia, Assam: A powerful IED weighing around 5 kg has been recovered by a joint police and CRPF team from a bus in lower Assam’s Kamrup (rural) district this evening, police said.
On a tip off, the security forces stopped and searched a bus coming from Nalbari towards Guwahati at Dalmagate under Kamalpur police station and recovered the improvised explosive devise (IED) from a bag carrying vegetables, they said.

The area has been cordoned off and the bomb disposal squad from the Army Red Horns Division here rushed to defuse the bomb, they said.
