Rohit Bal, three associates arrested by Delhi police for drunken assault on neighbour

Delhi police has arrested fashion designer Rohit Bal and three associates for alleged drunken assault on neighbour. He has also been booked for trespassing.

As per a TV report on India Today, Bal and three of his friends allegedly trespassed his neighbour’s property and assaulted the neighbour. They were reportedly inebriated while the incident occurred.

Bal is no stranger to public brawls. Back in 2008, Hindustan Times reports that Bal engaged in another infamous brawl that involved his former boyfriend Inder Baweja and his then-boyfriend Lalit Tehlan.

The same report states that the brawl happened at a fashion week after party and went out of control when all the models started pushing each other. It spilled out into the public too, as the drunk models attacked passers by and members of the media as well. But the brawl began following an altercation between Bal, his former boyfriend Baweja and his then-muse Tehlan.

Bal is a popular face in the fashion circles and has stores across the country in cities like Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Kolkata and Chennai. Also a renowned jewelry designer, Bal has designed the clothes for Amitabh Bachchan in the latter’s quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati.
