Kim Kardashian opens up about Paris robbery in emotional episode on her reality show

Kim Kardashian West says her Paris ordeal was a ’life changing experience.'

Kim was robbed at gunpoint in the French capital last year and she has finally opened up about her experience on her reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians this Sunday, 19 March 2017.

At 4:30 am 3 October 2016, Kim was resting in her Paris hotel room after a night out with Kourtney and stylist Simone Harouche. While lying in bed, the 36-year-old mom recalled hearing footsteps pounding up the stairs, believing it was her sister and friend returning drunk from partying. When she called out, there was no response.

Speaking to her sisters Khloe and Kourtney on KUWK, Kim shared her worst fears during the experience, which involved multiple armed men who physically restrained and gagged her, says The Hollywood Reporter .

“Then [one man> duct tapes my face, my mouth, to get me to not yell or anything and then he grabs my legs and I wasn’t, I had no clothes on under [my robe> and he pulled me towards him at the front of the bed and I thought, ‘okay, this is the moment. They are going to rape me.’” Kardashian said, adding “And I fully mentally prepped myself and then he didn’t and he duct taped my legs together.”

In addition to fearing that she would be raped, she was also convinced she would die.

Kardashian was not shot, however , and instead was placed in the bathtub, where she was found later. The robber made off with a reported $10 million in jewelry. Kardashian, her sister and mother left Paris immediately to reunite in New York with her husband, Kanye West, and their children.

Kardashian West also opened up about telling Kanye West that she would rather not speak about the incident in front of their kids, reports ET Online . She told her husband that she didn’t want to ‘cry in front of the kids. Or let them think anything’s wrong.’
