Keith Sequeira and Rochelle Rao are officially engaged; Bigg Boss 9 couple to wed next year

After Kishwer Merchant and Suyyash Rai tied the knot last year, yet another couple, who found each other during the troublesome times of Bigg Boss 9, have announced their engagement.

Rochelle Rao and Keith Sequeira were another couple who grabbed a lot of eyeballs for the comfort they shared with each other during the reality show. It has now been learned that Sequeira proposed to Rao for marriage on Valentine’s Day.

The Times of India reports that he was planning to propose her at a romantic location such as a beach of the Andaman islands or a hill station, but work played the devil and deterred him from doing so. Nonetheless, he visited Rao’s residence and proposed marriage to her there.

After she accepted the proposal, the two posed for half  a dozen pictures, which they posted on their Instagram accounts in a collage format. The captions indicated that they were on the same boat now as they posted the collage with, ‘I said yes’ and ‘She said yes’ respectively.

The collage had an eerie similarity to the collage posted by Rai and Merchant before their wedding. It looks like the Bigg Boss 9 couples have a karmic connection or maybe they believe in borrowing each other’s ideas.

Mid-Day reports that marriage is certainly on the cards but not this year. Since Sequeira is scheduled to start a television show soon and Rao is also occupied with her show, they will be able to get married only next year. They have not decided on a date yet.

While there are multiple relationships that cropped up on other seasons of _Bigg Bos_s, there are very few that made it to their wedding day , such as Ashmit Patel-Veena Malik, Pooja Bedi-Akashdeep Sehgal and Tanisha Mukerji-Armaan Kohli, Upen Patel-Karishma Tanna, Anupama Verma-Aryan Vaid, Sarah Khan-Ali Merchant and Karishma Kotak-Vishal Karwal.
